He completed a one year tour in Afghanistan, where he attained the rank of E4 specialist and moved from infantry to squad RTO and then to company RTO.   His wife, Meggin, and sons, Mason & Jackson, are very proud of their hero and glad he is home safe.

He has decide to remain in the military and has changed his MOS to Apache Tech. After completing his training, he is hoping to be stationed in Dothan, AL at Ft. Tucker.

Booneville seniors lead cheer squad to first state title

Shelby Jones, Morgan Jones and myself, Sarah Grace Wroten are the three seniors on the 2010-2011 Booneville High School Varsity cheer squad. Morgan and I are co-captains. This year was topped by our winning the 3A varsity cheer state championship competition. After 3 years of finishing second, it was great to finally get the win my senior year. This picture was taken at the Mississipi Memorial Coliseum, where the competition took place.

Sarah Grace Wroten's Senior Portrait

It seems like only yesterday that I came home with my family from Kunming, Yunan, China, but it was October 29th of 1994. I am now a senior at Booneville High School in Booneville, MS. As the song says, "I'm not lucky, I'm blessed". My childhood has been full of adventure and excitement. I love my family so much.

Thanksgiving 2009

Hello, all! This is the initial posting for "The Wroten Family" blog. Since this is new to me, it may be a little rough at first. I will be trying to post photos and news. I will send everyone my email and if possible make this where everyone can post pictures and news of their respective family units.

I would like to say that November 26, 2009 was a spectacular day! I was glad to meet Mike and Isiah Daniel and Beau and Susan. It has been many years since I last saw Laurin. Mike and Beau share an interest in riding, so we hit it off talking about chrome, carburetors and ape hangers. Being without 2 wheeled conveyance at this time, this caused much distress to me, but I shall ride again and hope to ride to Florida to visit.

We had some really wonderful food, you know the kind that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, as well as sleepy. We had representation from Texas, Mississippi, Missouri and Florida. I took just over 200 photos, but have had problems uploading them to facebook. I may be able to post them here.

I know we had a great time, and I hope everyone else did as well. I hope everyone traveling back to Florida, Texas, and Missouri have a safe trip. Can't wait to see everyone next year!

Peace, Love, and Chicken Grease! I'm outta here!
